Ms. Cañas was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Astrotech in May 2025. Ms. Cañas has served as the Company’s Corporate Controller since June 2022. Ms. Cañas brings over 20 years of experience in senior financial roles. Prior to joining Astrotech, Ms. Cañas served as the Controller of The Texas Water Company, formerly SJWTX (NASDAQ: HTO, formerly SJW) from 2018 to 2022.

Mr. Wallis is the Chief Product Officer at Astrotech Technologies Inc., he has held officer positions since 2023. With a solid foundation in engineering and project management, Mr. Wallis previously served as the company’s Director of Engineering, overseeing critical development projects, driving operational efficiency, and managing high-impact projects.

Richard Siegwald

EMEA Sales Director

Richard Siegwald is our European Sales Director to support the development of sales distribution channels in EMEA. Previously, Richard was the Global Business Development Director for Aviation Solutions for Smiths Detection, one of the largest aviation security technology providers globally. Prior to Smiths Detection, Richard was the International Global Sales Director for Sales and Channel Management for Morpho Detection (Safran group) and EMEA Sales Director for GE Homeland Protection. He has 25+ years of executive level experience in sales and marketing on the security sector.
